OK, so this post is probably just an excuse to reproduce this old photo of the Russian president Vladimir Putin playing ping-pong in his Speedos. But the magazine Kommersant has published a hilarious account of the recent glitzy Putin-fest in Moscow. Particularly special is the bit about a rock band singing the praises of the Russian 'Grad' rocket artillery system: “The coast is clear thanks to Grad/With us are Putin and Stalingrad!” More here.
